Farnborough College of Technology Ranks in Top Ten of Colleges in England
Students and staff at Farnborough College of Technology are celebrating the news that the college is once again in the Top Ten of the national league tables for student success.
Figures released by the government’s Skills Funding Agency measuring overall student achievement, show that Farnborough College of Technology has been ranked in the Top Ten of all colleges in England.
For 16 – 18 year olds overall achievement, Farnborough College of Technology came 4th out of all colleges in the country.
In a fantastic all-round performance, the government figures also show that Farnborough College of Technology was ranked 6th out of all the college providers in the country for their Apprenticeships which cover all ages.
Principal Virginia Barrett said: “We are consistently in the top ten college providers for our 16-18 and Apprenticeship offerings, which is truly great news, and a testament to the hard work put in by both staff and students of the college.
“We are continuing to invest in the college in all areas, and have recently expanded our provision for teaching 14-16, Adult Learners, and degree level offerings, including launching our new university-level courses in Construction, and Institute of Leadership and Management short courses.
“These results prove that not only are we providing an excellent learning facility for our community but we are consistently working with local employers to meet their needs, and help people of all ages successfully enter the workplace through the Apprenticeship scheme.
“We’re excited to offer such dynamic courses here at Farnborough College of Technology and looking forward to seeing what next year will bring.”
This continues Farnborough College of Technology’s consecutive ranking as one of the top ten Further Education colleges for overall achievement in the country.
