A great stepping-stone to either university or employment Godalming has a community spirit that gives all students the freedom to develop as individuals. Graded outstanding by Ofsted and a Beacon College it is an exciting place to study and learn, and exam results continue to be amongst the best in the country. The large sixth form campus has excellent resources including Centres for Independent Learning, Sports and Performing Arts.

Student learning programmes usually have four elements, which can include AS/A-levels, BTECs and GCSEs. Enrichment activities such as sport, drama, music and Duke of Edinburgh's Award are also timetabled.

The College offers up to fifty level 3 courses including vocational A-levels in dance, performing arts, leisure studies, travel and tourism; BTEC National qualifications in business, IT, media and sport, as well as, the CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. An Access course enables students to study the equivalent of five subjects chosen from GCSEs and BTEC First Certificates in preparation for starting A-level work the following year.

In addition to teaching staff, the College's team of personal tutors, learning and study support staff, careers advisors and counsellors are available to give advice and guidance to every student. EMA and the College fund provides extra help with study costs, maintenance, travel expenses etc.
