Esher College

Esher College provides a modern and attractive environment in which students can set out on the next stage of their educational progression, following successful completion of their GCSE courses. Our College community contains about 1450 full-time students who join us from a wide range of schools, each following an individual learning programme relevant to their needs and ambitions.

It is a place where students enjoy themselves both academically and socially, and where they are able to develop the skills and qualifications to prepare for their future. We consistently achieve excellent examination results and the vast majority of our students progress to degree or other courses in higher education. We pride ourselves on a successful record in enabling students from all types of backgrounds to reach their full potential.

We provide extensive support for students through our personal tutor system, progression guidance and counselling. Our learning support department provides individualised help in meeting a wide range of learning needs. Our students are able to enjoy a wider educational experience through our extension programme, and are encouraged to take additional key skills qualifications.

Esher College was inspected by OFSTED in February 2005. Copies of the report are due to be published in May/June 2005.
